My belief in the power of mindfulness-based techniques to discover and bring our true selves to everyday life has led her to focus on deepening self-awareness, enriching relationships and enhance decision making for individuals, families and professional leadership.
Balancing my experiences in finance and education with raising three energetic boys helps her to identify with the stresses and circumstances facing each of us in an increasingly noisy world. Awareness of dynamics straddling the British/American and South Asian cultures gives me a unique perspective on how a mindful life is adapted for diverse backgrounds.
As a Qualified Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) teacher from UMass Center for Mindfulness, I has been practicing and teaching mindfulness for over a decade. I am a qualified 200 hour Registered Yoga teacher (RYT) and have created K-12programs through Mindful Schools. My core approach is to bring together best practices from across disciplines to focus on nourishing the mind, body and spirit through mindful living. I am an active teacher across diverse institutions and have had the privilege to teach at Ramapo College – NJ, West Point Military Academy FMWR – NY, Phelps Memorial Hospital – NY, Gilda’s Club – NY and Briarcliff Manor UFSD–NY.
In addition, I have conducted online and in person meditations, mindful parenting and yoga sessions for an array of participants.

MBSR 8 Week workshop
Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is an 8 week workshop, combining mindfulness meditation, body awareness, yoga and exploration of patterns of behavior, thinking, feeling and action.

Yoga - Beginner
Gentle yoga practice, with focus on building endurance and posture integrity.
Students will be introduced to yoga postures through step by step verbal cues and demonstration.
Tuesday & Thursday

Class consists of beginner breathwork with progression into guided mindfulness meditation.
Guided imagery, focused attention and many more...
10:30am - 11am
Restorative guided meditation - translating to Yogic Sleep. Allowing the body and mind to drop into deep profound relaxation.
